It's difficult to find the right words to adequately describe this summer. I believe that a large part of the problem lies in my unwillingness to use the past tense when I talk about Interochen. To do so would mean that I must acknowledge that it is over and that's tough. For all of the challenges and frustrations that learning on the go can bring, there are always infinitely more moments of joy, laughter, and growth that make leaving such a unique place nothing short of painful. I'm truly grateful for the opportunities I had while working as an intern for Interlochen. If there's one thing I'm sure of it's that the people I met, the places I saw, and the experiences I had will continue to shape me for years to come. And really, I couldn't ask for more than that.
